plain woven carbon fabric width 100 cm Industrial carbon 3K - 200Tex HS fiber especially for RTM & vacuum infusion high laminate strength & stiffness for flat products and easy moulds
Product Description
Plain woven fabric out of industrial 3K - 200 Tex HS carbon fibers. This gives a very interesting price and high level fabric properties, but a somewhat lesser carbon gloss of the fabric. This makes it very suitable for structural parts. To be used especially for RTM and vacuum infusion process. For hand lay-up for visual parts to be decided by each individual customer. Idea: this fabric can be well used for the lower layers in the laminate where the top layer is Toray fabric.
This plain woven carbon filament fabric (width = 100 cm) is woven from Industrial 3K - 200 Tex HS carbon yarns into a bi-directional balanced fabric. First class and persistant quality by a producer with many years of experience and highly skilled staff. Produced under the strictest requirements for the processing, storage and quality control of carbon fibers. Made by weavers specially trained in working with carbon fibres and with many years of experience in this field.
The plain woven carbon fabric is mostly used in combination with epoxy and vinylester resins. Suitable for application in RTM and vacuum infusion processes.
Typical applications:
marine (structural parts, sailboat masts)
model making
aircraft- and spacecraft parts (structural and non-structural)
automotive (race car bodies, springs, engine hoods)
Sports goods (golf club shafts, fishing rods, bicycle frames)
lower layers of the laminate
