A carbon prepreg material (PREimPREGnated material) is a combination of a carbon woven fabric with reactive resins. With their numerous options of processing techniques, they represent the ideal basis for light-weight and high-strength construction parts. For delivery the prepreg material is placed inbetween two plastic foils to prevent sticking.
Our prepreg systems are based on reactive resins with medium to high viscosity. Effortless processing is provided by applying energy and simultaneously forming which triggers the highly reactive curing system at higher temperatures.
Our prepreg materials are very succesfully in use in the mould manufacturing industry. But also for the production of construction parts.
Our prepregs are available in a wide range of carbon fabrics, in width of 100 cm, 120 cm and 127 cm. Both in plain and in twill, from 1K fiber to 12K fiber, from 93 g/m2 to 600 g/m2.
